Terms of Service

The service

TradeBid provides automatic construction estimating, takeoff, bid drafting, PDF export, and review tools. It is a tool for organizing a first pass—not engineering, legal, code-compliance, pricing, or professional advice.

Your responsibility

You must review and approve every scope decision, quantity, price, exclusion, allowance, contract term, and final proposal before relying on or sending it. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TradeBid and every submitted bid complies with applicable project requirements, laws, licensing, and contracts.

Accounts and content

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for content submitted through it. You represent that you have the right to upload plans, specifications, photos, and other materials. Do not submit unlawful, confidential, or restricted material without authorization.

Using your uploads to improve TradeBid

Unless you turn it off in Settings under “Help improve TradeBid”, you permit TradeBid to keep copies of the plans, specifications, price books, estimates, and price files you upload on or after October 1, 2026, and to use them to test and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to grant this permission for the materials you upload. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings; we then delete the copies we kept.

Company name and logo permission

You grant TradeBid permission to display your company’s name and logo on TradeBid’s website to identify your company as a customer. You represent that you are authorized to grant this permission on behalf of your company. This permission does not include private bids, plans, pricing, or personal contact information, and does not authorize claims of endorsement. You may withdraw permission by emailing mason@tradebid.org.

Payments and refunds

Pricing, plans, and limits are shown before purchase and may change prospectively. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.

Availability and limitations

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeBid is provided as-is and we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
